One person has died and two others were injured in a targeted shooting that occurred Monday morning on Highway 78, near Orion Drive, in DeKalb County, Georgia.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, authorities were alerted to the incident when the victims transported themselves to Emory Decatur Hospital for emergency treatment.
Scene and Casualties
FOX 5 cameras observed a vehicle parked in front of the hospital, cordoned off with police tape. Bullet holes were visible on the rear of the car.
Officials confirmed:
- One person died from their injuries.
- The remaining two individuals are in serious but stable condition.
Police have not yet released the identities of the victims or a description of the suspect.
