Body discovered on February 14
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police (Maryland), Fuller was found deceased in his apartment at the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility early on February 14, with a gunshot wound to the head. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
Surveillance video captures suspect
The video released on Friday shows a person appearing on the facility's grounds around the time of the incident.
The individual has long, dark hair.
The camera recorded from behind, so the face is not clearly visible.
Police noted that the person in the video has a distinctive gait.
There is no clear description of gender or race; authorities stated the person in the image could be male or female.
Police are appealing to anyone who recognizes the clothing or identifying features, including the gait, to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
Information leading to an arrest could be rewarded with $250 to $10,000.
Renowned Philanthropist
Fuller was a former U.S. Navy Reserve officer and a prominent attorney from Augusta, Maine. According to the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, he contributed over $1.6 million to modernize Cony High School's athletic complex when the project faced financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. The stadium was subsequently named after him.
He also supported numerous organizations in Maine, including MaineGeneral Medical Center, Kennebec Historical Society, Kennebec Valley YMCA, the historic Old Fort Western, and a local library.
The investigation continues as police search for clues to identify the suspect.
